Strang is a tiny Oklahoma community of 56 people in Mayes County, about 50 miles northeast of Tulsa via US-412 and Highway 69. The town sits on rolling prairie where cattle ranches stretch between the Ozark foothills. Most visitors arrive on Highway 69, which runs north to Kansas, while locals use rural county roads. A restored railroad caboose marks the town's early 1900s railroad history.
