Strafford is a Greene County city of about 2,700 people located 20 miles northeast of Springfield via Highway 125. Most visitors take I-44 to Exit 88, then drive eight miles north. The route from Springfield takes 25 minutes and serves daily commuters. The town sits in rolling Ozark foothills with a mix of farms and wooded areas. The historic Frisco Railroad depot still stands downtown at the intersection of Highway 125 and Commercial Street.
