Stonewall is a small farming community in southeastern Oklahoma, about 20 miles from Ada via Highway 99. Most visitors arrive from Oklahoma City or Tulsa on longer routes through rural Pontotoc County. The town sits in rolling hills near Chickasaw National Recreation Area, where many of the 445 residents still work family farms passed down through generations.
