Stonewall is a small Mississippi town of about 1,000 people in Clarke County, sitting along US Highway 45 about 25 miles south of Meridian. The town connects east-west via State Highway 18, with most residents commuting to Meridian for work. Named after Confederate General Stonewall Jackson, it retains several early 1900s buildings from its days as a railroad stop on the old Mobile and Ohio line.
