Stokesdale is a small Piedmont town about 20 miles northwest of Greensboro, reached via US 158 from US 220. Most visitors arrive from Piedmont Triad International Airport, 25 miles southeast. The town of 6,000 hosts the popular Stokesdale Spring Festival each May, featuring bluegrass music and local crafts in the central park.
