Stockton is a small county seat in southwestern Missouri's Cedar County, home to about 1,950 people in the Ozark foothills. Highway 32 runs east-west through town, connecting to Springfield 45 miles northeast, while Highway 39 heads north to El Dorado Springs. The historic red brick courthouse from the early 1900s anchors the town square.
