Stockton is a tiny farming town of 170 people in southeastern Iowa's Muscatine County. Reach it via County Road X61 from US Highway 61, which connects to Muscatine (15 miles) and the Quad Cities. Most visitors come from eastern Iowa for local business. The town sits amid rolling corn and soybean fields typical of the Mississippi River valley region. Its 1895 one-room schoolhouse still stands as a piece of local history.
