Stewardson is a farming town of 756 people in central Illinois, about 40 miles south of Decatur. Take I-70 to the Altamont exit, then Route 128 north for 8 miles. The town sits on Route 128, which connects to other rural communities and provides access to I-70. It's home to a preserved one-room schoolhouse that still operates as a museum.
