Stella is a farming community of 126 people in southeastern Nebraska, reached via Highway 4 about 12 miles northwest of Falls City. Most traffic comes from US-75 to the west or connects through Falls City from US-73. The town sits in rolling agricultural land about 70 miles south of Omaha. Its 1888 one-room schoolhouse still stands as a landmark from the area's early settlement period.
