Statham is a small Georgia city of about 3,000 people located an hour northeast of Atlanta via I-85 Exit 129. State Route 211 runs through town connecting to Commerce and Athens, while Highway 129 provides another route from metro Atlanta. The city operates from a red brick city hall that also houses the police department and municipal court.
