Star City is a small county seat in southeastern Arkansas, home to about 2,400 people along the Arkansas River. Highway 425 runs north-south through town, connecting to Pine Bluff (35 miles) and Monticello (20 miles), while Highway 11 heads west to Rison. The 1929 Lincoln County Courthouse downtown features striking Art Deco architecture that's become the town's signature landmark.
