Stapleton is a small farming community in east-central Georgia's Jefferson County, accessible via US Highway 221. The town connects north to Milledgeville and south to Swainsboro, with State Route 24 providing east-west access. Most visitors reach Interstate 16 through nearby Dublin for longer trips to Macon or Savannah. The town features one of Georgia's oldest surviving railroad depots from the Central of Georgia Railway era.
