Stanton is a small farming town of about 500 people in southwestern Iowa, sitting along Highway 34 between Red Oak and the Nebraska border. It's about 45 miles from Council Bluffs and accessible via Interstate 29. The town is famous as the birthplace of Virginia Christine, the actress who played Mrs. Olson in classic Folgers coffee commercials.
