Stanley is a tiny mountain town of 319 people nestled in Idaho's Sawtooth Valley at over 6,000 feet elevation. Highway 75 (Sawtooth Scenic Byway) is the main route, connecting south to Sun Valley (61 miles) and north toward Boise via Highway 21. It's the gateway to Sawtooth National Recreation Area with stunning mountain views. The post office still operates from a 1930s log cabin.
