Stanley is a tiny farming town of about 70 people in northeastern Iowa's Buchanan County. Reach it via county roads from US Highway 20 to the south or Interstate 380 about 25 miles east. The massive grain elevator dominates the landscape and serves as both landmark and economic center for the surrounding agricultural area.
