Stanhope is a small farming town in central Iowa where Highway 17 serves as Main Street. It's about 15 miles from Webster City via County Road D20 and easily reached from Interstate 35 at the Williams exit. The town sits in typical Iowa agricultural country with flat to gently rolling terrain. The 1920s grain elevator still dominates the skyline and can be spotted from miles across the prairie.
