Stagecoach is a small East Texas community of about 640 people in Montgomery County, roughly 40 miles northwest of Houston near Sam Houston National Forest. Most visitors arrive via I-45 north from Houston, exiting at FM 1097, or from US 59 through Cleveland. The town sits where pine forests meet coastal plains, creating scenic drives through mixed woodlands. David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport is just a few miles away for private flights, and several 1800s-era log cabins still line the back roads.
