St. Stephen is a small Berkeley County town of about 1,500 people, located 45 miles northwest of Charleston via US-52. The route passes through Moncks Corner and offers access to Francis Marion National Forest and Lake Moultrie. The town hosts an annual Rice Festival featuring the World's Largest Pot of Rice.
