St. Paul is a small farming town in central Nebraska, accessible via US Highway 281 about 30 miles northwest of Grand Island. The route from Omaha takes about two hours on I-80 west to Grand Island, then north on 281. As the Howard County seat, it features a striking 1894 red brick courthouse with a prominent clock tower that dominates the downtown square.
