St. Paul is a tiny mountain community of 136 people in Madison County, reached via winding Highway 21 through the Ozarks. Most visitors pass through heading to Buffalo National River or exploring Ozark National Forest. The drive from Little Rock takes about two hours through Russellville and up Highway 7. The town's small post office serves as one of Arkansas's few remaining St. Paul postal facilities.
