St. Michael is a growing suburb 30 miles northwest of Minneapolis, connected by Highway 241 to I-94 and Highway 25 to neighboring communities. Most traffic comes from Twin Cities commuters and visitors heading to Minnesota's lake country. The town features parks, trails, and a beautifully restored 1940s movie theater that still operates with its original single screen and vintage red velvet seats.
