St. Louis is a tiny Oklahoma community of under 100 people in Pottawatomie County, about 45 miles east of Oklahoma City along Highway 9. The town connects to Interstate 35 via Highway 9 west toward Norman, or continues east toward McAlester. Most residents commute to Shawnee or Oklahoma City for work. Despite its small size, St. Louis shares its name with the famous Missouri city, reflecting Oklahoma's early settlement naming patterns.
