St. Lawrence is a farming town of 172 people in central South Dakota, sitting right on Highway 14 between Miller and Wessington Springs. Most visitors come from Pierre (90 miles northwest via US 83 and Highway 14) or from Sioux Falls via I-90 and Highway 83 north. The town features one of Hand County's last operating original wooden grain elevators.
