St. David is a small farming town of 383 people in west-central Illinois, about 30 miles southwest of Peoria. Take I-74 west to Exit 51, then Route 97 south for 8 miles. The historic grain elevator towers over the surrounding cornfields and serves as a landmark visible for miles across the flat prairie.
