Springville lies along I-15 in Utah County, about 50 miles south of Salt Lake City and just north of Provo. The city sits in Utah Valley with the Wasatch Mountains rising to the east. I-15 provides the main north-south route, while US-6 heads east toward Spanish Fork Canyon. Most traffic flows north to Provo and Salt Lake City for work and shopping. The city earned the nickname "Art City" for its annual June arts festival that fills Main Street with hundreds of regional artists.
