Springfield, Tennessee sits 30 miles northwest of Nashville in Robertson County's rolling farmland. Take I-65 north to Exit 98, then Highway 49 west for 12 miles to reach downtown. The city serves as county seat and has grown as Nashville's suburbs expand northward. Highway 161 connects west to Clarksville while Highway 25 heads north to Kentucky. Springfield calls itself the "Cradle of Country Music" for producing more country stars per capita than anywhere else in America.
