Springdale is the gateway to Zion National Park, with virtually every visitor to the park passing through this small Utah town. Most arrive via State Route 9 from I-15 near St. George (45 minutes) or through the dramatic Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel from the east. The town operates a mandatory shuttle system during peak season, making it one of the few places where you can't drive your own car to the main attraction.
