Spring Valley is a small Greene County community of 575 people nestled along US Route 68 between Dayton and Xenia. Most visitors take I-675 to Route 68, then drive eight miles northeast through rolling farmland. It's a 20-minute commute to Dayton and serves as a quiet gateway to southwestern Ohio's rural areas. The town's historic covered bridge, one of Greene County's last 19th-century wooden spans, crosses a creek right downtown.
