Spring Valley is a diverse suburban community in Rockland County, about 30 miles northwest of Manhattan. Major access comes via Interstate 87 and Route 59, which cuts straight through town connecting to the Tappan Zee Bridge and Route 17. The area serves as a gateway to Bear Mountain State Park via Route 45 north. Spring Valley hosts one of the largest Orthodox Jewish communities outside New York City, with dozens of synagogues and kosher businesses throughout the village.
