Spring Lake is a lakeside community in Ottawa County, about 30 miles northwest of Grand Rapids. Most visitors take I-96 to Exit 16, then M-104 west for 3 miles. The town sits on a natural lake connected to Lake Michigan via the Grand River, with several marinas and the popular Lakeshore Trail nearby. The drawbridge downtown opens every 30 minutes during boating season.
