Spangle is a tiny farming town about 20 miles south of Spokane via State Route 195, then west on Spangle-Waverly Road. The 25-mile drive cuts through classic Palouse wheat country with rolling hills and scattered farms. This agricultural community of just over 300 people sits where forested terrain gives way to open farmland. The historic grain elevator complex serves as a prairie landmark visible for miles along Highway 195.
