South Wayne is a small farming community in southwestern Wisconsin with about 440 residents. Take Highway 11 to reach it directly, or connect via Highway 18 from Madison through Dodgeville. The town sits in dairy country along the Pecatonica River valley. Most notable is its historic covered bridge, one of the few remaining covered bridges in Wisconsin.
