South Roxana is a small industrial town of 2,200 people along the Mississippi River, 15 miles northeast of St. Louis. Take I-270 north to Highway 111, or I-55 to Highway 111 south from Illinois. The Great River Road runs through town, connecting to Alton and Wood River. The massive Phillips 66 refinery dominates the skyline as one of the Midwest's largest petroleum processing facilities.
