Somerset is a small Perry County town of about 1,200 people where US Route 22 and State Route 13 intersect in southeastern Ohio's rolling hills. It's about 45 miles from Columbus via US 22, making it a quiet stop on the main east-west route through the region. The town hosts an annual Melon Festival each September that's been running since 1946.
