Sligo is a small Pennsylvania borough of about 730 people in Clarion County, reached via State Route 208 from US Route 322. The town sits in the Allegheny Plateau's rolling hills along the Clarion River valley. Most visitors arrive from Interstate 80 via Clarion, about 12 miles east, while Pittsburgh lies 75 miles southeast through winding river valleys. The downtown still features original brick paving from the early 1900s oil boom.
