Sky Valley is a small mountain town of 650 people in northeast Georgia's Blue Ridge Mountains, accessible via Highway 246 off US 441. The two-hour drive from Atlanta follows I-985 to US 441 through Clarkesville and Clayton. At 3,000 feet elevation, it's Georgia's only ski destination, complete with snow-making equipment at Sky Valley Resort.
