Six Mile is a small mountain foothills town in Pickens County, about 15 miles northwest of Clemson via scenic Highway 11. The Cherokee Foothills National Scenic Byway runs right through town, connecting to I-85 for longer trips to Greenville or Atlanta. Most traffic is local commuting, with limited EV charging available. The town earned its name by being exactly six miles from the historic Cherokee settlement of Estatoe.
