Simpsonville is a small Kentucky city of about 3,000 people located 20 miles east of Louisville in Shelby County. Take I-64 east to Exit 32, then US 60 south to reach downtown. The area features rolling Bluegrass countryside with horse farms and tobacco fields. The town hosts an annual Corn Festival in September featuring what locals claim is the world's official corn-eating championship.
