Simla is a tiny farming town of 423 people sitting on the high plains about 50 miles southeast of Denver. You'll reach it via Highway 94 from I-25 or Highway 86 from Castle Rock. The historic grain elevator towers over the prairie and can be spotted from miles away across the flat grasslands.
