Silo is a small Bryan County community of 580 people in southeastern Oklahoma, accessible via US Highway 69/75 and State Highway 22. Most visitors drive from Durant, about 15 miles south, where Durant Regional Airport provides the nearest air service. The town sits amid rolling farmland typical of the Red River valley region. Silo's defining feature is the towering grain elevator that gave the community its name and remains visible for miles across the surrounding countryside.
