Sidney is a tiny Ozark community of 175 people in Sharp County, reached via Highway 63 from Mountain Home or Highway 56 from Melbourne. Most visitors come from within 30 miles, though some arrive via Highway 67 from Little Rock for Buffalo River access. The town displays a vintage red caboose from the old Missouri and North Arkansas Railroad line.
