Sibley is a small Louisiana town about 30 miles southeast of Shreveport via Highway 80. The area sits among rolling pine hills with a humid subtropical climate. Most locals drive Highway 80 to nearby Minden or make longer trips to Shreveport for services. Highway 371 runs north-south through town. The Old Mill Marketplace operates one of Louisiana's last working water-powered gristmills.
