Shoals is a small Martin County town of 679 people along US Highway 50 in southern Indiana's hill country. The main route through town connects east to Seymour and west to Vincennes, while State Road 150 provides north-south access to Loogootee. The town hosts the annual Shoals Catfish Festival, celebrating its White River fishing heritage since 1966.
