Ship Bottom is a small shore town on Long Beach Island, about 70 miles from NYC via Garden State Parkway Exit 63 and Route 72. The main drag, Long Beach Boulevard, connects this mile-long stretch between Surf City and Beach Haven. Summer crowds pass through heading to island beaches, but the town maintains a quiet residential feel with a few local eateries and shops along the boulevard.
