Sheridan is a small Hamilton County town about 30 miles north of Indianapolis via US Route 31. The main routes are US 31 from the south and State Road 38 running east-west through town. It's surrounded by typical Indiana farmland with a continental climate. The town hosts an annual Mud Day festival each July where people dive into giant mud pits.
