Sheldon is a tiny Wisconsin town of 220 people tucked into Rusk County's forests along the Flambeau River. Highway 40 connects it to Ladysmith 15 miles east, which links to Highway 8 and US-53 for longer trips. The town maintains a small public boat landing that provides access to some of northern Wisconsin's best muskie fishing waters.
