Shambaugh is a tiny farming town of 113 people in southwestern Iowa, eight miles from Nebraska. Take Highway 2 west from Red Oak, then turn south on local roads. Most visitors come from within Page County for agricultural business. The grain elevator towers over the surrounding cornfields and serves as the town's main landmark.
