Seymour is a small county seat town where US 82 and US 277 cross in north-central Texas. It's about 60 miles northwest of Wichita Falls and serves as a stop for travelers heading east-west across the state or north-south through the heart of Texas. The 1908 stone courthouse with its prominent clock tower dominates the town square and can be seen from miles across the surrounding prairie.
