Severy is a tiny farming town of 175 people in southeastern Kansas, about 60 miles from Wichita via US-54 and county roads. The community sits in Greenwood County's ranch and wheat country, connected by local roads to Highway 54 through Eureka. Its restored 1920s grain elevator remains a prairie landmark visible for miles.
