Seven Devils is a tiny mountain town of 425 people perched at 3,200 feet in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains. Located 8 miles north of Boone via Highway 105, it's a gateway to ski resorts and hiking trails. The cool climate draws summer visitors escaping the heat, while winter snow supports local skiing. The town gets its name from seven peaks that early settlers thought looked like devil's horns.
